She is an avid therapy dog, having participated in over 50 pet therapy visits to help relieve school stress. Kimchi’s calm demeanor is a testament to how much she loves helping others. She’s the perfect companion for those in need of a little extra joy. In fact, if you’ve attended the stress relief events at Palomar College in the last two semesters, you may have already met her!

Kimchi has been a bright light in my life since the moment I adopted her. Born in sunny Venice, Florida, she came into my life at just the right time. I was living in Anchorage, Alaska, when I saw her, and despite the distance, I knew she was meant to be part of my family. After her surgery for luxating patellas when she was just one year old, Kimchi made a remarkable recovery and went on to prove how resilient she truly is. Today, she’s back to running and playing without any issues, making her the perfect therapy dog.
