Bath time is always an adventure in our house, especially when Noon gets a bath. Unlike his sister Kimchi, who tolerates it, Noon is not a fan of water and will do everything he can to avoid the tub.
As soon as he hears the water running, Noon hides under the table or behind the couch. But once Noon gets a bath started, he gives in (with plenty of treats for encouragement). We use warm water and a gentle dog shampoo to keep his fluffy coat clean without irritating his skin.
During rinsing, Noon gives us his signature “betrayed” look, making it clear he’d rather be anywhere else. After Noon gets a bath, he’s wrapped up in a soft towel and given lots of praise. Even though he doesn’t enjoy it, he always looks extra cute and fluffy afterward!
Every time Noon gets a bath, we’re reminded that patience (and treats) go a long way. He may not love it, but we love taking care of him!
