The Poms Go to Discovery Lake
We took a relaxing walk around Discovery Lake today, and Kimchi and Noon had the best time sniffing every tree and watching ducks splash around. Noon trotted ahead like he was the trail guide, and Kimchi stuck close, especially when she spotted other dogs. I always pack a few essentials for trips like this to make sure they’re comfortable and hydrated.
The weather was absolutely perfect for a walk around the lake! It was cool and cloudy, with a light breeze that kept the air feeling fresh. Kimchi and Noon usually get hot quickly with all their thick fur, but they were comfortable and full of energy the entire time. The overcast sky made it even more relaxing — no harsh sun, just a peaceful, quiet trail and two happy Pomeranians trotting along. We even found a great spot with a scenic background to take a photo, and with the help of a few well-timed treats, I managed to snap an adorable shot of both of them looking right at the camera.
